One snowy morning in December, these two Gentoo penguins jumped out of the water and up onto this iceberg. The penguin on the left, head down and tucked into his chest, perhaps feeling guilty for swimming ahead of his mate who seems to be giving him an earful. Pleneau Bay, Iceberg Graveyard, Antarctica. This was a very young elephant among its herd in Kings Pool, Botswana. Elephants bring their ears forward like this when they are concerned for their safety and want to intimidate those.
